Sustainable Task Chair
This Earth Day, Humanscale presents a breakthrough in office furniture: the Path chair. Designed by Todd Bracher Studio, with innovations in materials, engineering, and manufacturing, the Path chair makes a positive impact on both people and the planet.
The Net Positive Impact
Throughout its life, every Path Chair gives back more than it takes. Its impact—in manufacturing, shipping, use, and end-of-life—is certified by the International Living Future Institute as climate, water, and energy positive.
With Every Path Chair,
Innovation for Every Body
Building on Humanscale’s deep expertise in ergonomic design and engineering, the Path chair provides comfort for 95% of the population. Its newly patented mechanism and revolutionary design features respond to the needs of all sitters, in any position, throughout the day.
How the Path Chair Works
4/22 1PM
The complex mechanisms and controls found on most task chairs have been simplified in Path into one seating innovation—a single mechanism that moves with the sitter and keeps them comfortable in any position.
The sitter’s bodyweight engages the mechanism, and the seat tilts up whenever the sitter reclines. So regardless of the sitter’s size or weight, the chair responds perfectly to support them without the need for traditional knobs or levers.
