Nydree’s proprietary acrylic-infused hardwood is engineered from seven plies of water resistant plywood, glued with marine-grade adhesive, and topped with a 2mm thick acrylic-infused real wood wear layer.

Barry Brubaker, our founder, drew inspiration from his childhood near Nydrie Farm in Virginia, renowned for breeding top thoroughbred racehorses. Barry’s father-in-law worked on the farm and the name resonated with Barry, leading him to title his company Nydree (pronounced Nid-dree). Established in 2001 with the acquisition of Gammapar, Nydree expanded by acquiring PermaGrain in 2003. Today, Nydree is dedicated to crafting premium wood flooring and walls that blend strength and style, rooted in generations of expertise. Our proprietary technology combines multi-ply plywood, high-grade adhesives, and a 1/10” thick layer of acrylic-infused real wood. With origins dating back to Gammapar's process invention in 1963, we continuously refine our methods.
