Scripps President and CEO, Chris Van Gorder, toasts Scripps’s leaders, physicians and donors
during the 91st Annual Candlelight Ball, which benefits Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.
Celebrating its 91st year, Candlelight Ball is one of the oldest fundraising galas in
San Diego and a holiday tradition with spectacular décor, fine dining and dancing.
Longtime Scripps Health benefactors, Al and Sandy Bertha, were among
the guests at this year’s event held at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar.
Following in his parents’ footsteps, Bruce Anderson and his wife, Patricia, support Scripps Health.
