Jenny Nguyen, founder and owner of The Sports Bra in Portland, OR, created a unique space where women athletes are celebrated, and live women’s sports events are showcased on every screen. As a chef and entrepreneur, Jenny built The Sports Bra to fill a personal need for an inclusive environment that supports women in sports. She partners with other women-owned small businesses in the Portland area to supply the bar, further fostering community and empowerment.
Ellen Hyslop and Jacie deHoop, college friends and founders of The Gist, set out to change the male-dominated sports media landscape where less than 15% of journalists are women. Since its launch, The Gist has rapidly grown, offering comprehensive coverage of all sports while championing the growth of women’s sports. In their latest episode, Jacie and Ellen introduce Rough & Tumble, a female-founded brand that shares their commitment to equity in sports.
Jasmine Maietta, founder of Round21, is a former pro basketball player and college coach with over 20 years of experience in sports marketing. Recognizing a need for more creative freedom in sports, she created Round21 to unite artists, athletes, and fans, allowing them to share their stories and showcase their individuality. Round21 collaborates with major sports leagues, including the WNBA and NFL, to create unique, artistic products that celebrate the intersection of sports and art.

Allyson Felix, retired track star and entrepreneur, is the founder of Always Alpha, a female-led sports management firm dedicated to representing women athletes at all levels. A pioneer as one of the first vocal athlete/mothers, she also launched Saysh, her own shoe company. Through Always Alpha, Allyson continues to empower female athletes by focusing exclusively on supporting both professional and college women athletes.
