Payroll Provider
Everyone who earns a paycheck must pay federal income taxes, social security taxes, and Medicare taxes to the IRS. Some employees even pay state and local income taxes, depending on where they live.
As a ShiftMed W-2 employee, you pay these taxes every time you earn a paycheck. We withhold the amount you owe for taxes and submit those funds to the IRS on your behalf.
