MCX SPEAR
The MCX platform has long been SIG SAUER’S breeding ground for developing the best rifle system in the world through extensive testing, continued innovation and customer feedback. The latest evolution is the MCX LT, based on its predecessor the MCX Virtus the new MCX LT has a lightened handguard with attachment screws for additional rigidity and a lightened profile barrel with improved accuracy. Other features of the MCX LT include an ambidextrous bolt catch and release on its lower and SL Muzzle device to attach the SIG SLX/SLH QD suppressors.
All MCX-LT’s are available in coyote with IR Resistant FDE and come in 5.56 NATO, 300BLK and 7.62x39.

DESIGNED ALONGSIDE SIG SAUER SUPPRESSORS
The MCX LT is engineered with suppressors in mind and SIG SAUER has made significant product advancements in suppressor technology. In 2015-2016 the U.S. Army discovered that the gas from a fired cartridge contained several harmful gasses if inhaled by the shooter. Legacy suppressor designs often create blowback on the system and expels copious amounts of gas through the ejection port window and towards the shooter. SIG SAUER worked closely with SOCOM to develop a rifle and suppressor combination that decreases the amount of toxic fumes a shooter is exposed to by 70-80%
The extensive testing and continuous innovation at SIG SAUER’s Research and Development facilities have culminated in the creation of the MCX LT, one of the most versatile rifles on the market today. Fielded by operators worldwide, the MCX LT is available in a variety of configurations and calibers to suit diverse tactical needs. Proudly, SIG SAUER maintains active contracts to supply the MCX LT to elite units such as SOCOM, the UK Ministry of Defence, UK Metropolitan Police, and the Australian Defence Force, among others.
