The blanket term is used for all of the contractors, students, visiting researchers, and volunteers who stream in and out of Cleveland Clinic hospital locations on a daily basis, as well as those who work with the organization remotely. The Security Administrative Services (SAS) department, which falls under the umbrella of Protective Services, is responsible for onboarding them all.

As Cleveland Clinic’s contractor needs evolved with the healthcare climate, and many needed to be fast-tracked, staff working remotely were able to enter non-employee information directly into Rival Workflow for quick, easy approval and launch by program coordinators on the team.
