55,000-SF, two-story CLT and Glulam mass timber facility built on the University of Oregon’s active Portland campus. The new facility will house the Ballmer Institute for Children’s Behavioral Health and the Portland facilities of the Prevention Science Institute and will facilitate collaboration between both institutes to accelerate discovery and reach across schools and communities to address the national crisis in child behavioral health.
The center will serve as an innovation hub for training the next generation of the child behavioral health workforce, researching new approaches to support youth mental health, and providing clinical services to children and families in need of mental health support.
