What are Daily Leverage Certificates (DLCs)?
Daily Leverage Certificates (DLCs) are exchange-traded financial products that enable investors to take a leveraged exposure to an underlying asset, such as an equity index or a single stock.
Daily Leverage Certificates replicate the performance of an underlying asset versus its previous day closing level, with a fixed leverage factor.
The DLCs are for specified investment products (SIP) qualified investors only.
Why is DLC trading becoming more popular?
DLCs offer exposure to over 70 underlying indices and stocks in the Hong Kong and Singapore stock markets.
Magnifies your short term perspective with daily 2X, 5X or 7X leverage for both sides of the trade (note: both return or losses will be amplified).
Lower capital outlay and transaction costs for investing in DLCs as compared to a direct investment in the underlying asset.
