Restricted STOCK UNITS (RSU)
A restricted stock unit (RSU) grant gives you the right to receive shares of Atlassian stock at specified points in the future, called vest dates. On each vest date, a portion of your RSUs become shares and are released to you. You can keep them or sell them, subject to Atlassian’s Insider Trading Policy. You must accept your RSU award online through your Shareworks account.
To Accept your Rsu Grant:

RSU Vesting & Release
When your RSUs vest and are released to you, you realize income. Depending on your location, tax withholding may be due on the vest date. If tax withholding is due, Atlassian will sell a portion of the shares that are vesting to cover this amount. Note that taxes withheld may not cover your tax liability. For more information see the Country-Specific Information posted on Shareworks tax guides. Once the RSUs vest, you will receive your shares in one to four days depending on your location: • Countries with no required tax withholding will receive shares one trading day after the vest date. • Countries with required tax withholding will receive shares four trading days after the vest date (vest date + sale date + two-day settlement).
