Shareworks breaks down your total value into two sections: Available: A summary of vested shares available to exercise Unavailable: A summary of unvested shares not available to exercise Please note: Depending on your company set up, you may see your portfolio value graph or Fair Market Value.

Get the most out of your equity! Below is an overview on how to navigate through your Shareworks account.

DOCUMENTS TAB
Notification bar
View upcoming or past events on the right-hand side. This section displays activities such as upcoming vest dates and past transactions.
In the Documents tab, you can access any information that is relevant to your account including your plan documents, grant agreements, country-specific tax supplements, and any tax slips issued based on your account activity.
Portfolio TAB
In the Portfolio tab, you can view the details of your individual awards. You will also be able to use the Model Exercise tool or exercise vested options.

In the Activity tab, you can view past events, such option exercises. You can also run your own activity statements and reports over a specified time period.
The Notification bar alerts you of any important notices such as upcoming blackouts, current blackouts, and market closures.
The tasks area displays any activities for you to complete such as accepting your grant agreements.

This section is only required if you have a balance after your option exercise, if you are required to pre-fund (see Managing Deposits tab). Keeping your banking information up to date is important to ensure that your funds are delivered accurately.
Managing your banking INFORMATION
To Update Your Banking Information:
1. Sign in to your Shareworks account 2. Click your name on the top right 3. Click View Profile 4. Under the Financial Institution Information section select Manage Banking Information 5. Click Edit Banking Information 6. Make your desired edits 7. Shareworks will need to verify that the edits are requested by you. To do that, select how you would like to receive the verification code 8. Enter the verification code once you receive it and click Save

EXERCISING YOUR STOCK OPTIONS
1. Sign in to your Shareworks account using your OneLogin platform 2. Click the Portfolio tab 3. Select the Uber Share Holdings tab 4. Click the Manage Plans button 5. Select the Cease Contributions link 6. Select which plans you would like to cease your contributions to and click Save
1. Sign in to your Shareworks account 2. Click the Portfolio tab 3. Locate the Option grant you would like to exercise 4. Select the Exercise link on the right 5. Select the type of exercise you would like to use and click Continue 6. Enter the number of shares you would like to transact in the Exercise Quantity field and click Continue 7. Select the Delivery Instructions 8. Review the Exercise Direction Form and click Accept 9. Verify the exercise details 10. Click Submit Exercise Your transaction and a transaction reference number will now appear under the Activity tab.
To exercise your stock options
A stock option is a right to purchase company shares at a specific price, usually after a period of time (vesting). Stock Option exercises may only be requested through your Shareworks account.
blackout periods
A banner at the top of the screen will appear if you are currently in a blackout period.
expiry
Your stock options will generally have an expiry date, if you remain an active employee. However, upon termination, you will usually have a set period of time to exercise your outstanding vested options or they will be forfeited. Please refer to the expiry date in Shareworks after termination and review your plan documents.

Exercise: To exercise your options means to purchase the share at a pre-determined price.
Model Exercise: Model your exercise to understand more about your estimated taxes, fees, and get an idea of what the exercise will cost you. Navigate to the grant you would like to exercise, click Model Exercise and follow the steps.
Exercise Types: Depending on your company's plan you will have different exercise type options.

Accepting your grant
When your company has granted you a new stock option or award, you will be prompted to accept the award upon logging into Shareworks. You can view the grant agreement immediately or view it later.
to accept your grant:
1. Sign in to your Shareworks account 2. If it is a new grant, you will be prompted to view it or save it for later. If you haven't accepted the grant, you can find it in the Tasks area you will see a tile labelled with You have a new grant 4. Click View or View Grant 5. The details of your new grant including issue date, expiry date, total amount of shares, and the vest schedule. You will have the opportunity to print the details now. Don't worry, all of the information will be saved in your Shareworks account under the Documents tab 6. You can choose the following actions to complete the process: Accept: You have agreed to the grant terms and conditions; your grant will appear in your Shareworks account Disagree: You have disagreed to the grant terms and conditions; a notice will be sent to your administrator stating you have declined the grant Later: The grant will sit in your Task area until you accept or decline

ONLINE PAYMENTS: INSTANT LINK
PAYING FOR EXERCISES ONLINE
The Online Payments allows you to link one or more bank accounts to Shareworks. Use this to fund payments when exercising and holding your stock options. Please note, the options available may differ based on your company set-up.
Plaid: Shareworks uses Plaid for Online Payments.
Funding Payments – If you want to elect the Exercise and Hold method for stock option exercises, you may have to have sufficient funds in your account to fund the cost of your options, taxes (if applicable) and fees before you transact. This is determined by each company.
1. Sign in to your Shareworks account 2. Click your name on the top right 3. Click View Profile 4. Under the Financial Institution Information section select Manage Deposits 5. Select Instant Link 6. A pop up will appear, use the search field to find your bank 7. Enter your online bank sign in credentials and select the account you wish to link 8. Once the account is linked, you can elect to send funds immediately or add funds later
- Links to your bank using your usual online banking sign in credentials - Allows you to immediately add funds to your Shareworks account - Some financial institutions are not supported, if you are unable to find your bank or receive an error attaching your account, use the Manual Link method
Shareworks allows you to submit and pay for an exercise directly through the platform. In order to pay for your exercise, you will need to submit an exercise request and send in your funds via ACH or Wire. Please note, this may differ based on your company set-up. 1. Sign in to your Shareworks account 2. Click the Exercise button beside the vested grant you would like to exercise. You may also have a tile on your dashboard prompting you to fund your account. If the tile appears, click Fund Account to start the workflow. 3. The Exercise Parameters box will pop up, select Exercise options and hold the shares, pay from cash holdings 4. Add the number of shares you would like to exercise in the Exercise Quantity box and click Continue 5. If you do not have funds in your Shareworks account, there will be a prompt for you to add funds. Click Add Funds Now. The workflow will prompt you to complete the steps in the Set Up Online Payments Using the Instant Link section above.

HOW TO EXERCISE USING YOUR CASH HOLDINGS ACCOUNT
Once your exercise has been submitted, you will see a tile your Dashboard page of your Shareworks account. ACH funds can take up to 5 business days to settle. While the funds are in the process of settling, you can go in and cancel or modify your exercise. Once the funds settle, the exercise will be automatically completed.

Paying for Exercises Online
1. Sign in to your Shareworks account 2. Click Choose method in the Choose release method tile in the Tasks bar 3. Review and select which release method you would like to use for this grant 4. Verify the details and Submit the Election
When you receive restricted stock awards or units, generally your employer agrees to deliver shares of company stock at a specified time or at some event in the future. Once this time has elapses, your restricted award is "released". At this point, you can liquidate or cash in your award. To do so, follow the instructions below. It's also important to know, some companies offer multiple release elections that you may have to choose from, the most common are: - Withhold to cover - Pay taxes and fees separately, receive all shares Once the release is complete, the shares will appear under the Portfolio tab.

Under the Miscellaneous Account Information section, select the Manage Default Release Election link 4. Click the Elect Default Release Method button 5. Access direct accounts
Lot Selection: Earliest Acquisition First (First In, First Out)– The shares you acquired will be sold first Select by Acquisition Date – Chose which shares will be sold.
Order Type Market Order – Exercise today using most recent close price Limit Order with a good to date – Sell when the market price meets or exceeds a specified price - Shareworks will automatically sell the shares at the price specified.
Delivery Methods ACH (Automated Clearing House) – If you have a US bank account, you may complete an ACH payment to deliver the proceeds to your bank account. NOTE: It is extremely important to enter your financial information accurately, there may be a delay of 5 to 10 business days if entered incorrectly. Wire to Bank Account – Funds can be electronically wired to your bank account as specified during the transaction process.
