• Site has been fully authorized to run the
SomaScan Assay within their lab.
• Site quality is regularly assessed in partnership
with SomaLogic.
Broadest protein coverage
The largest commercial proteomic assay on the market, providing broad and deep coverage of every major biological pathway.
The SomaScan Platform is optimized for proteomics.
Technology
With median CVs of ~5%, SOMAmer Reagents provide reproducible results with fewer samples.
Lowest coefficient of variation
Workflow at our Authorized Sites accommodates even large projects, while utilizing stringent controls to yield fast, accurate data.
340 samples
per week
Our unique approach detects very rare proteins and highly abundant proteins from the same samples simultaneously.

dynamic range
How the SomaLogic Platform is different
Large-scale
proteomics
Exquisite specificity enables 11,000 simultaneous measurements
Over 800 publications and growing
Reduce time, cost, and risk in your proteomics research
The SomaScan Assay utilizes highly specific and modified SOMAmer® Reagents that bind to conformational epitopes of naturally occurring proteins. With broad coverage of protein targets, SomaLogic delivers the largest content, high-throughput proteomics data available.
How it works
You can now access the power of our pioneering, high-plex SomaScan® Platform at a research institution near you.
SomaLogic Authorized Sites undergo rigorous training and ongoing verification protocols – along with unlimited hands-on support from our scientific team, so you can have absolute confidence in sample handling and data analysis.
Welcome to the SomaLogic Authorized Site program
Access the pioneering SomaScan® 11K Assay at one of our SomaLogic Authorized Sites worldwide

The SOMAmer Reagents bound to streptavidin beads are used to capture proteins from a biological sample.
SOMAmer Reagents are synthesized with a fluorophore, photocleavable linker, and biotin.
1
Unbound proteins are washed away, and bound proteins are tagged with biotin.
3
A UV light breaks the photocleavable linker.
4
Non-specific complexes dissociate.
5
A polyanionic competitor prevents rebinding of
non-specific complexes.
6
Biotinylated proteins (and bound SOMAmer Reagents) are captured on streptavidin beads.
7
SOMAmer Reagents are isolated and
fluorophores measured.
