In population proteomics, it’s really important to link to external cohorts with comparable data, so you can replicate and refine your results. But how can you find and access the right datasets? We started the SomaScan Proteomics Consortium, comprised of a variety of academic collaborators and disease studies around the globe, for this reason. The Consortium serves as a valuable resource for collaboration and data sharing to advance protein biomarker discovery and development in medical research."
