Tequila Blanco

Clear color. Aromas and flavors of lemon zest and dried apricot, blue cheese, pepper and suede, and dry hay and praline with a silky, crisp, dry medium body and a tingling, complex, medium-length finish with notes of boot leather, dried stone fruit, citrus and pepper, and grilled cucumber. On one of our trips to the El Viejito Distillery, our Master Distiller pulled out a bottle we hadn't seen before and poured us all a glass. When he told us it was his 110 proof blanco, we were amazed by how smooth and flavorful this high-proof tequila was. We recommend enjoying this agave-forward tequila over an ice cube with a splash of water or in a lighter cocktail that complements this elevated tequila.

Silvery straw color. Aromas and flavors of banana chips, canned pineapple, green papaya, lime, and peanut in sesame oil, and Thai basil with a satiny, lively, dry medium body and a seamless, nuanced, medium-long finish with notes of pad thai with mild peppers, coconut butter with lime and salt, white pepper, and honeycomb. With just a hint of oak to soften the spirit, beautiful tones of rich, complex agave abound in this reposado.

Santo Mezquila is the world’s first agave blend made from 100% Blue Weber Agave blanco tequila and 100% Espadin mezcal. Clear color. Our añejo is around two years old, which is older than the average añejo. Golden yellow color. Aromas and flavors of vanilla cream, beeswax, almond paste, and lemon oil with a velvety, lively, dryish medium body and a warming, charming, medium-length finish displaying notes of honey nut cheerios on butter pecan ice cream, cigar box, candied lemon zest, and coconut cream. A delicately aged añejo with just enough barrel flavor to compliment the underlying earthy and herbaceous qualities of the agave.

It’s been difficult to be patient, but it was worth the wait. Our añejo is around two years old, which is more aged than the average añejo. Sammy and Guy demand a high standard of quality, so we waited until it was as good as it could get before committing to launch. Like our blanco and reposado, our añejo is certified additive-free. Only 6% of añejo tequilas on the market are additive-free.
