A year after Singapore Pools was established, the Singapore Sweep was launched. It was created to raise funds for national development and social causes, including the construction of Singapore’s first National Stadium. Pictured here is the fourth draw, held at Gay World Stadium in 1969.
In 1968, Toto booths were introduced to the markets and busy streets of Singapore, with the first draw held on June 9 that same year.
