Families may receive a combination of support from various government agencies to empower them to move forward. Some key programmes available are:
Provides financial assistance and social support to help with daily living needs, such as rent, utilities and food.
ComCare
Offers early childhood support, including learning resources and food packs, for lower-income families from the mother’s pregnancy through the child’s early years.
KidSTART Singapore
Aims to uplift lower-income families with children towards stability, self-reliance and social mobility through long-term support.
Eligible families, who work with their family coaches, can receive financial top-ups through four ComLink+ Progress Packages targeting:
Preschool education
Stable employment
Debt clearance
Home ownership
