2018-2019: The birth of X-Phy
Inspired by cyber attacks on two clients, Flexxon developed and launched the world’s first smart storage drive with AI-embedded protection.
Using grant support from Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG), Flexxon successfully filed a patent for X-Phy with help from a consultant. This informs its intellectual property strategy for the future.
2020: Establishing its IP strategy
Flexxon sharpened its growth strategy through EnterpriseSG’s Scale-Up programme. With the agency’s connections, Flexxon also established its first US office in Maryland.
2021-2022: Expanding overseas
Leveraging EnterpriseSG’s connections, Flexxon looks to ink more partnerships as it continues to expand in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Future outlook: Setting new cybersecurity standards
One of the seven global winners, Flexxon took home a World Intellectual Property Organisation Global Award for its IP strategy in commercialising X-Phy.
