HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN RATINGS
Your rating will be adjusted based on the weight penalty the runner has been assigned.
The maximum penalty for jumps racing is 12 stone (10 stone for flat), the difference is added to your rating.
In the example above, Blazeon Five is 4 pounds under the 10 stone flat maximum so our rating increases from 84 to 87.
Keep your ratings up to date by adjusting them once a race has finished.
Start by finding a race result and then select the My Ratings tab.
On this tab you can enter your own rating for different race types, you do not need to enter a rating for every race type.
Enter your rating and then select the save button to store it against this horse profile.
Once you have built up a database of your own ratings it is easy to begin comparing against the official rating to spot and exploit potential discrepancies that may benefit you.
To adjust ratings for all runners, you need to enter values into the following boxes:
My Rating - enter your own rating for a single horse based on how it ran in the race.
Tip: You may select a horse you had previously rated, in which case you can enter the difference between your old and new rating in the +/- box, as well as notes to explain the change.
Lb/Length - enter the weight penalty you'd like applied to all other horses.
Tip: By default this box will be populated with the standard weight penalty that should be applied for the race.
Select the Calculate button and it will automatically populate a rating for all other runners, based on their existing rating, the weight penalty and the number of lengths they lost by.
If you'd like to overwrite the current rating you have saved for a horse, simply check the Set master box and then select the save button.
This will overwrite whatever rating and notes you had stored under the horse profile previously.
