If there was a movie about your life, who would play you?
What songs would be on the soundtrack to your life?
Who is your biggest business idol?
If there were a movie about my life I would get Miles Teller to play me, probably the pre-top gun Miles Teller though, like from Whiplash or War Dogs.
I like a lot of Country, Rock, and Hip Hop. Some of my favorite songs across each genre are Revival (Zach Bryan), All Your’n (Tyler Childers), Sheep (Mt. Joy), Scar Tissue (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Even Flow (Pearl Jam), Black Smoke Rising (Greta Van Fleet), Losing My Religion (R.E.M.), Forever (Drake), All Falls Down (Kanye).
Mark Cuban- He has a really cool story behind earning everything he’s done and starting his own businesses, and he seems to be just an outgoing and good guy. I also like watching shark tank a lot and I’m a big NBA fan, so I think it’s awesome he owns the Mavericks.

What is something people wouldn’t guess about you?
I would most likely go with Ryan Gosling. We share the same first name, and with his slight sense of humor while also being serious, I consider him as one of my favorite actors.
I would go with mostly classic rock songs. To name a few: When the Levee Breaks and Going to California by Led Zeppelin, Spirit in the Sky by Norman Greenbaum, Can’t You Hear Me Knocking by The Rolling Stones, and lastly Wild Night by Van Morrison.
Since I moved to Athens, GA when I was 7, I have never missed a Georgia Football home game. Go Dawgs!

If there was a movie about my life, it would be played by Jonah Hill.
A few songs that would be on the soundtrack to my life would be Something in the Way by Nirvana, I’m the Man by 50 Cent and Body Work by Blues Notes by Meek Mill.
Something people wouldn’t guess about me is I lost just about 100 pounds.

If my life was a movie, I would hope that Anne Hathaway would play my character.
I have a twin brother, Ryan. Despite our personalities being the complete opposite, we enjoy watching sports together, traveling to new places, and eating any type of dessert!
My biggest business idols are my parents. Over the several years, I have observed two entrepreneurial minds show determination and resilience as they have worked to build their business.

Jennifer Aniston would be a good choice to play the role of me in my movie. She has the perfect combination of humor and silliness, such as in her Rachel role in Friends, but can also be serious and driven, as evidenced by her role as Alex in the Morning Show.
Jack Johnson’s music played a significant role in my childhood. The songs “Flake” and “Upside Down” take me back to a nostalgic time, and the beach is usually involved.
Warren Buffett is my biggest business idol. His emphasis on temperament while investing is an excellent lesson for all investors. “Be greedy when others are fearful; be fearful when others are greedy.”

I am a very picky eater, although it may not seem like it because I eat a ton.
The power of one more by Ed Mylett has had the biggest impact on me. This book helped me implement the one more strategy into my life, I am one more relationship, one more decision, one more conversation away from changing my life forever.
Tom Bilyeu is my biggest business idol. Besides the fact that he grew his company to over a billion dollars in 5 years, he is focused on helping people improve their lives and achieve their goals. He is someone who I aspire to be like and hope to meet one day.

All That You Dream by Little Feat and No Rain by Blind Melon would be on the soundtrack to my life.
My favorite book is Gregg Allman’s autobiography, My Cross to Bear.
My biggest business idol would be my grandfather, Rex Welton.

My biggest business idol is Dan Gilbert. His success across business sectors is impressive but the more inspiring element of his career is what he has done for Detroit. He has committed to reinvesting in the city and much of Detroit’s positive momentum over the last 5-10 years can be credited to him. His work is a great example of the positive impact a leader in business can have on their community.
The soundtrack to my life would be pretty dominated by country music with a smaller mix of classic rock and alternative. I think it would be highlighted by “Some of It” and “Monsters” by Eric Church, “When it Rains it Pours” by Luke Combs and “Learnin to Fly” by Tom Petty.
Something people wouldn’t guess about me is that I am the oldest of 4 with 3 younger sisters. While I am sure the 10 year old version of me would have loved to trade one of them for a brother to throw a football with, over time they have grown to be my best friends.

A book that has had a big impact on you?
Probably some combination of Michael Caine, Guillermo Francella, and George Lazenby.
Most people I know ending up finding out one way or another, but something unique about me is that I speak five languages and have lived in China and New Zealand. I learned Mandarin Chinese while living abroad and I speak Italian, Spanish, and Polish at home.
The Odyssey by Homer. A timeless homecoming epic that has provoked some of my deepest thinking.

I like to think I’m especially good at throwing darts. Compared to my friends, I am far better than them.
The Joy of Game Theory by Presh Talwalker. Learning about game theory and the idea of optimizing my outcomes helped reshape my decision-making process as well as strengthen my interpersonal diplomacy skills.

Many people have heard the song Wide Open Spaces by the Dixie Chicks, however, I first heard it from a singer/songwriter named Susan Gibson. She is the writer of the song and sold it to the Dixie Chicks later on. Susan Gibson’s version of the song would be the headliner on my soundtrack followed by Everything Has Changed, and lastly, Old Time Rock & Roll.
A fun fact about me that people don’t usually guess is that I have been playing guitar for more than half of my life now
Do Hard Things: A Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations by Alex and Brett Harris. This book taught me how to become a self-starter. It also showed me how to create goals, work to obtain them, and influence others to do the same.

I am a musician and have a band that plays around UT campus. I play guitar, drums, and I sing.

I think that if there was a movie based upon my life, I would choose Mark Wahlberg to play my role. His energy and consistency both on and off camera is something that I try to carry every day in my own life.
One thing most people would not guess about me is that I have been a huge outdoorsman my entire life, enjoying hunting, fishing, and hiking whenever I have the free time.
I would have to say Warren Buffet is someone who I look up to most as his simplistic lifestyle despite his great success is something I think everyone should take note of.

I would say my soundtrack would have a lot of country music since that is my favorite type of music, and the songs would be casual/calm because I think I am a very laid back and easy going person.

One book that had an impact on me was Tuesdays with Morrie because I think it shares a good message about being kind and living life to the fullest.

My biggest business model would have to be my grandfather. He is the reason I first became interested in commercial real estate.
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain had a big impact on me growing up. It was one of the first books that got me into reading and inspired me to be adventurous.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off had the biggest impact on me because it taught me to live life to the fullest.
Tony Robbins is my continued business idol because he taught me how to develop a winners mindset even when life’s challenges show up.

The pursuit of happiness (Kid Cudi), 7 Rings (Ariana Grande), Memories (David Guetta), Pump it up (Endor).
I can do the worm, I have been skiing since I was 2 1/2, I am left-handed, and my French bulldog bites people.
The movie the Big Short had a significant effect on me because my dad is a home builder and when I was young I witnessed the impact it made on himself and his business. Reading the book Atomic Habits made me look at my day-to-day routine much differently. I was able to create better habits for myself and take things out of my daily routine that no longer suit me.
My dad, Steven Hilton is the founder of Meritage Homes. His work ethic and motivation for the success of his business have been so rewarding to witness ever since I was a young girl.

As a Cuban-American, I have gone to Miami almost every year for winter break and had a pig roast on noche buena, the night before christmas. Since the pandemic my family has transitioned to having Christmas at home, so now I am in charge of roasting the pig for the family!
The movie Breaking Away inspired me to start cycling. This year my goal is to ride 10,000 miles!
I’ve always found the song Happy by Pharell Williams has represented one of my major character traits which is to stay positive and seeing the bright side of situations.
