Terry Farms was recognized in 2022 as a sesquicentennial farm, along with 36 other family farms in Minnesota.

In May 1976, the Minnesota State Fair sent invitations and applications to county-level organizations asking to help find the farms in Minnesota that had been continuously owned and operated by the same family for 100 years or more. The purpose was to discover how many descendants still farmed the same land their ancestors did. That marked the beginning of the Century Farm program, and since then, nearly 11,000 Minnesota farms have been recognized as Century Farms. In 2022, the Minnesota State Fair and the Minnesota Farm Bureau recognized an additional 78 Minnesota farms as Century Farms.
