Dean’s Cabinet members recently had the opportunity to share their expertise with other members on career-shaping legal topics.
“During the panels, the members brought a level of knowledge in their fields–and life experiences that made you stop and listen, even take notes,” said Jeff Foss, MPA ’00, senior director of philanthropic partnerships.
In May, members of the Cabinet learned about estate planning and wealth management from an impressive trio of their peers: Brian T. Brandt, JD ’96; Patricia M. Annino, JD ’81; and Stephen N. Wilchins, JD ’82. Each of them has had a successful career helping clients navigate these complex fields, and they shared some of the latest tips and strategies.
The fall Cabinet meeting welcomed Jeffrey R. Drago, JD ’07; Ernst Guerrier, BS ’91, JD ’94; and Alan B. Sharaf, JD ’87. Drawing on their extensive experience with the Boston-area real estate scene, they described the various opportunities and challenges associated with real estate investing.
“The expertise on the 65-member Dean’s Cabinet is remarkable. I learn so much from these experienced Suffolk Law alumni, and I know that the members enjoy learning from each other. These panels have been powerful reminders of the transformational nature of a Suffolk Law education,” says Dean Andrew Perlman.
