Noteworthy
This fall, the College of Arts & Sciences Honors Program is celebrating 20 years of excellence and impact—and the special kind of camaraderie that comes from shared academic exploration, in class and out (including student-faculty kickball games on Boston Common). Founded in 2005 by Government Professor Agnes Bain, the honors program has produced a generation of distinguished undergraduate scholars and researchers who work closely with CAS faculty mentors, including the program’s current director, Sharon Lenzie, BA ’93, MS ’10, assistant dean of student academic affairs. Coming up in 2026: the program’s first-ever academic travel seminar to Japan.
