law briefs
This past academic year, ten Environmental Law & Policy Clinic students worked approximately 3,500 hours on environmental law projects with agencies, nonprofits, legislators, and legislative committees, including the Massachusetts Senate Committee on Ways and Means. A few of the project areas included addressing PFAS (toxic compounds often referred to as “forever chemicals”) in drinking water; tackling the future of solid-waste disposal; better preparing farms and farmers for extreme weather; and mitigating the impact of climate change through offshore wind and other renewable energy sources.
