“This past summer I volunteered to restore a Jewish cemetery in Poland with the Bialystok Cemetery Restoration Fund, joined by a few classmates and Professor Barbara Abrams. It was an incredible experience. It was not easy work, but it was very rewarding to see the progress and help the restoration and preservation of cultural heritage and historical record. In three weeks, we restored 1000 gravesites, a number that previously took 3 years to achieve.”

“I am deeply passionate about understanding how cultures, arts, and histories work together to shape the world. Growing up in a multicultural family and being bilingual, I’ve always been surrounded by different traditions and perspectives, which fueled my curiosity and appreciation for global connections. I chose Suffolk University because of its strong emphasis on global perspectives and rich resources that have aided me during my academic and professional journey.”
