The Suffolk Law Alumni Association honored four distinguished graduates at a virtual awards ceremony this past spring.
Barry Cosgrove JD’85, a member of the Dean’s Cabinet, received the Edward Bray JD’58 Legacy Award for his commitment to the Law School and his support for students who might not otherwise be able to afford a legal education. Cosgrove’s gratitude and his empathy for people struggling to pay for their education recently led him and his wife, Ingrid Valdes Cosgrove, to endow a $1 million scholarship in honor of Ingrid’s grandmother, Graciela Rojas-Trabal. The Cosgroves’ scholarship helps the students who need it most, prioritizing those with financial need who have not received any other scholarship.
