Suffolk spirit hit the stratosphere when the women’s ice hockey team beat Endicott College 2-1 to win the Commonwealth Coast Conference 2023 championship—the first CCC championship in program history. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink in East Boston was filled with cheering students, staff, faculty, and families as Rams goalie Lily O’Neil stopped 40 shots. For the second straight season, Captain Shana Cote was named CCC player of the year, while Head Coach Taylor Wasylk earned coach of the year honors.
