“I wanted to work closely with the faculty as I figured out where I belonged in the theatre world. So many huge universities across the country let you fall through the cracks. I’ve never felt like just another student in Suffolk’s theatre department. After graduation, I plan to work in the Boston area as a freelance stage and production manager. The connections I’ve made at Suffolk have opened doors for a variety of opportunities and paths in the local professional world.”
“It’s not every day you get to work with someone so incredibly passionate about their career that it infects your own mind and soul – unless, of course, you study theatre at Suffolk University and take a class with Professor Wesley Savick. I cherish every word of feedback he provided on my work and deeply appreciate the insights he gave me that changed my point of view. He is truly one of the gems of the theatre department.”
“Suffolk presents a unique educational experience through total immersion in all aspects of the creative process. I took classes in everything from directing and acting to stagecraft and scenic painting, all while participating in numerous student-developed projects and larger faculty productions. These opportunities, combined with the rich professional theatre scene in the greater Boston area, create a wonderful foundation for a fruitful career in the arts.”
