We're connected to Employee Navigator’s carrier data exchange. This connection allows Clients who use Employee Navigator to have EDX on their Sun Life products. Our partnership with Employee Navigator is unique because we were the first carrier to take on the EDX build for brokers. This removes the task of building the EDX feeds off the broker's plate and getting the employer live significantly faster.

We're connected to Ease's Carrier Data Exchange, EaseConnect+. This connection allows Clients who use Ease to have EDX on their Sun Life products—making it easier to add and manage Sun Life insurance products between our systems and Ease.

Claims management made easy
Our online claims experience for Absence, Disability and Supplemental Health is ever-changing as we add functionality and enhancements. We work hard to support Clients and members with solutions that make it easy to file claims, get real-time claims status, and more.
Absence and disability
With our state-of-the art claims system combined with our intuitive digital experience, we’re making absence easier. All absence-related benefits including Short-Term Disability, Statutory Disability, Paid Family and Medical Leaves, Absence & ADA, and company-specific leaves can be submitted by telephone or online. Online 24/7 on-demand capabilities allow members to manage their claims and allow employers to access customized reporting to identify trends.
Supplemental health
Members can submit claims online for Accident, Cancer, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity or Wellness/Cancer screenings. They can use a desktop, tablet or mobile device, whichever they prefer. With our new technology, we receive the claims right away, which means faster claims payments and happier members. The process is simple. A member just visits their Sun Life account and clicks the ‘Submit a claim’ button to get started. After that, they answer a few questions about the claim they are filing. That’s it. They hit submit and their claim is off to our team for review and payment. Members can then come back to their account for real-time claims status and decisions.
