You fill your digital cart and place an order on Target.com.
At your local store, a team member picks and packs your item(s).
Rather than sorting the package by carrier and delivery location in the backroom, the team member places it along with other packages on a pallet that is then picked up by one of our local sortation center trucks — skipping the in-store sortation step.
Your package travels to your local sortation center, where it’s quickly offloaded, sorted and batched with other packages to be delivered to your neighborhood by Shipt drivers or our other carrier partners.
With Shipt, a local driver arrives at the sortation center, loads your neighborhood’s packages in their vehicle and heads out for delivery. Using our proprietary technology, we map out suggested routes for the quickest, most efficient way for Shipt drivers to deliver those packages.
Your Shipt driver delivers your package to your door as soon as the day after you placed the order.
