Small businesses deserve the scale of support the SBA offers, given the vital role they play in the U.S. economy. From 2013 to 2023, these businesses accounted for 55% of all new jobs. What’s more, by the SBA’s latest estimate, they generate 44% of all U.S. economic activity. In 2023, the following industries were the top SBA loan recipients:
