This was inspired by proven optimistic habits, revealed by research from Frost Bank, that can improve your mental, physical and financial health. Parker is a founding member of the Sustained Dialogue Campus Network, a member of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Values Council and the New Models of Leadership, and a Senior Expert at Mobius Executive Leadership. She studied organizational design at M.I.T., public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, and political and social thought at the University of Virginia.
Parker’s The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why It Matters (Riverhead, 2018) has been named a Best Business Book of the year by Amazon, Esquire Magazine, NPR, the Financial Times, 1-800-CEO-READS and Bloomberg. She has spoken on the TED Main Stage, and her TEDx talk on purpose has been viewed over 1 million times. Parker’s work has been featured in numerous outlets including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, NPR, TED.com, Forbes.com, Real Simple Magazine, Oprah.com, Bloomberg, Glamour, the Today Show and Morning Joe. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband, Anand Giridharadas, and their two children.

Popular Instagram poet and artist Morgan Harper Nichols has created her life’s work around the stories of others. Morgan’s popular Instagram feed (@morganharpernichols) has garnered a loyal online community, and she is the author of All Along You Were Blooming, a book of poems and art she created in response to the personal stories submitted by her friends and followers. Known for its lyrical tone and vibrant imagery, Morgan’s work is an organic expression of the grace and hope we’ve been given in this world. Morgan has also performed as a vocalist on several GRAMMY-nominated projects and written for various artists, including a Billboard #1 single performed by her sister, Jamie-Grace. Morgan is often on the road creating, teaching, and performing, in hopes of spreading her unique inspirational message and inviting others into her creative process. Morgan currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona, with her family.

Cord Jefferson is an award-winning writer who has worked on some of the most complex and popular series of the past decade. With an impressive and varied list of projects under his belt, Jefferson has rightfully earned praise for being a deeply talented and versatile storyteller.
Jefferson’s most recent credits are a powerhouse of critically acclaimed television series that includes the groundbreaking limited series Watchmen, comedy masterpiece The Good Place, and drama series tour-de-force Succession. Among the accolades that Jefferson has earned for his work on these series are two Writers Guild Awards; an NAACP Image Award for writing The Good Place’s “Tinker, Tailor, Demon, Spy” episode; and several additional nominations, including an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series for Watchmen’s seminal episode “This Extraordinary Being.”

Among Jefferson’s other credits are the upcoming HBO Max series Station Eleven; Netflix’s Master of None, where he wrote the episode “New York, I Love You”; Comedy Central’s The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore; and the Starz comedy series Survivor’s Remorse.
Prior to making his way into television, Jefferson was a respected and seasoned journalist, most notably serving as the West Coast editor for Gawker. During his tenure in journalism, Jefferson wrote for such publications as The New York Times, National Geographic, USA Today, and Bookforum, among others. Additionally, he has done reporting for NPR, CBC, BBC, CNN, and MSNBC.
Award winning novelist and filmmaker Owen Egerton is the writer/director of several films including the Mercy Black (Blumhouse, Netflix) and the horror-comedy Blood Fest (Rooster Teeth/Warner Media). He is also the author of a number of books including The Book of Harold the Illegitimate Son of God, How Best to Avoid Dying, and the PEN Southwest Book Award winner Hollow, which was named one of NPR’s Best Books of 2017. He also one of the co-hosts of Texas Monthly’s Good Newscast and is one of the talents behind the Alamo Drafthouse’s long-running comedy show Master Pancake Theater.
