The DC community service group participates annually in an ‘everything but the turkey’ event where we help our local community center prepare a Thanksgiving meal. Working in the local community and giving back in a way that is outside of our day-to-day client interactions is extremely rewarding.

What excites me about BRG is the opportunity to work closely with leading experts in competition economics, many of whom have extensive experience both as private consultants and as enforcers, including a former Chief Economist of the European Commission’s DG Comp. I particularly value the blend of intellectual rigor and creativity in our approach, combined with a strong sense of collegiality. BRG is characterized by a collaborative environment where being analytical, innovative, and personable are all essential qualities that drive the company’s success.

The work at BRG is challenging, but in a good way: you need to be able to synthesize broad-stroke conclusions from a large volume of information, working methodically and in detail.

I joined BRG because I wanted to work in an environment where economic theory and rigorous econometric analysis are used to find original solutions to complex problems, while having the opportunity to work with and learn from recognized experts in competition policy. From my first day here, I have had the opportunity to be involved in high-profile cases, collaborating with colleagues from London and Johannesburg.

The work at BRG is challenging and engaging. You may find great colleagues or challenging work in some jobs, but rarely both. BRG has both and has been a tremendous place to build my career.
