If, in the midst of the hustle and bustle of your daily life, you need time out to concentrate on yourself for a moment, you’re in the perfect place. Here you can take a breather as we provide a whole set of ideas on doing just that. You can go with the sound of the water and enjoy evocative images. And you can also plan your getaways to wellness destinations and discover ways of improving your health and quality of life in our city, from yoga or Pilates outdoors to places to meditate or relax after playing sports. Come in and breathe! The inspiration for this section comes from the AIRE Experience, which takes place in candlelight and temples dedicated to the relaxation of the body and mind. Temples that also occupy restored historic buildings, in big cities like ours and Chicago, as well as surprising parts of Europe, from London or Copenhagen to Barcelona, Seville, Almería and even Vallromanes, a town in the heart of nature near Barcelona. These are places that share the tradition of the baths of ancient civilizations and are small and welcoming paradises.

This is where it all began. Calle Aire in Seville, in the Santa Cruz neighborhood, is where the first seed was planted of these baths created to recover a tradition lost for centuries. Located in a Mudejar-style palace with over 500 years of history, a beautiful typical Andalusian garden welcomes you to the baths as the gateway to your sensory journey: waters at different temperatures, massages, and an environment marked by architectural heritage and Spanish history.

AIRE in the city that never sleeps sits right in the heart of TriBeCa, an oasis of tranquility designed to strike a harmonious balance between mind and body, even amidst the hustle and bustle of downtown New York. Located in an old textile factory from 1883, its facilities retain the character of its predecessor, with bricks, beams and columns mixed with historical elements of Spain: stone fountains from 16th century Andalusia and white marble from the country houses of the Costa Brava.

The biggest AIRE of all, with twenty thousand square meters, and exclusive services such as indoor and outdoor baths so you can relax at any time of the year while enjoying the Chicago sky. Its facilities retain the essence of the factory that houses them: dating from 1902, restored and located on the River West, very close to the West Loop. A former place of work, hustle and bustle that now only exudes calm and inner peace, amidst what remains of its industrial columns and wooden beams.

In Almería, AIRE revives the tradition of Roman baths in facilities located in the heart of the old area of the Andalusian city, right in the square that used to house the Arab souk. As you enter, you’ll feel how the Roman and Arab past of Almería merge in the most sophisticated manner. A journey of sensations and history awaits you, bathing in the rooftop pool, with spectacular views of the Alcazaba, an architectural complex dating from the second half of the 10th century.

The baths in this city are located in the lively Carlsberg Byen neighborhood, in the Carlsberg factory dating back to 1881. Next to El Born market, in front of the beautiful Ciutadella Park, the Barcelona baths are the most extensive of all AIRE baths in Spain, after they were refurbished and expanded in 2016. They occupy what at the end of the 17th century was a large warehouse and, now, converted into a temple of relaxation, there are still remains of its past inside, such as its stone and brick walls or vaults in the style of 'volta catalana'. A space that has managed to blend the past with the present to perfection.
