The brief: 'Food battles'
Tapping into Time Out's authority in all things food, Deliveroo wanted to change brand perceptions and stand out from competitors. Together, we created a delicious event series which showcased the quality and variety of food on their platform.

Nescafe Azera – Stay Curious
Food is one of Time Out's core verticals. From street eats to fine dining, we're a go-to guide for chowing down in London. The Time Out Index in 2018 found that getting food delivered made our readers happier than getting enough sleep, going to a restaurant, and even going to the pub! We were the perfect partner to help drive association between Deliveroo and seriously good grub.

We pitted London's finest food vendors against each other in a series of mouth-watering events. Londoners bought tickets to our Time Out and Deliveroo food battles, which included dishes from each of the food stands, a free beer, and the chance to cast votes and crown the winners. Promoted across print, digital, social and video, the events were ticketed via the Time Out Live platform, and hosted in central London locations.
