DESTINATIONS
Regent Seven Seas Cruises really need no introduction. Lavish suites, impeccable service, and world-class dining set the bar in the world of ultra-luxury cruising.
But you might not know that the Regent experience will follow you ashore. Over 4,500 shore excursions are included in the cruise fare, and are specially curated to open doors that would be hard to unlock independently. Imagine a sunset dinner at a Tuscan estate, a ramble in the wilderness with a botanist, or an afternoon spent beachcombing with an expert forager in rural Ireland.
We've already created a guide to the glamorous lifestyle on board. Now, we're taking a closer look at the adventures that await when you step off the gangway.

Find an excursion
If you'd like to get a sense of what's on offer before you sail, you can use Regent's online Shore Excursion Finder. This handy tool helps you to explore the full catalogue of tours in advance.
You can filter by port, tour type, and even by activity level, making it quick to narrow down the options that are most suitable for you. Regent can't guarantee that every tour will be available on every date, but it's fun to have a browse. After all, part of the joy of travel is in the daydreams you can enjoy before embarking.
Light activity tours have a lot of time built in for you to sit down and recharge. Moderate and strenuous activity tours might involve hiking and swimming. There are also curated tours that are either fully seated, or guaranteed to be wheelchair accessible.
Immersive exploration
You might only spend one day in port, but Regent's Go Local tours can give you the kind of experiences you'll treasure for years after. They're designed to connect you with local communities and give you a glimpse of a destination through the eyes of the people who actually live there.
You could find yourself cooking paella at a farm in rural Spain, sharing a homemade meal with a family in Bordeaux, fishing the old-fashioned way with the long-time residents of Portofino, or even hanging out with artists in their personal studios in Palma de Mallorca.
Many of these "Go Local" tours are already included in your cruise fare. Others might require a discounted supplement—well worth it, in our opinion.
From ship to shore
If you're happy to take it easy and explore at your own pace, you absolutely can. But with a variety of unlimited shore excursions available in every port as part of the cruise fare, you'd be missing a trick not to take advantage. Regent offers over 4500 "Included and Unlimited Shore Excursions", as well as Regent Choice excursions, which you do need to pay a little extra for. Chances are, when you peruse the full list, you'll find a better version of something you'd planned to shell out for independently.
Even if you've visited a destination before, there will almost certainly be a shore excursion that'll show you a whole new side of the region. They're curated to help you really dig in to the local culture and discover the secrets you might miss by following the guidebooks. Because groups are kept small, it all feels less like a regular tour, and more like a local friend showing you the ropes.
Europe, in depth

New for 2027/2028
In partnership with:
The Mediterranean
Cruising the Mediterranean with Regent is an effortless way to see it all in style. Their ships are small enough to dock right in the heart of every port, so you can be wandering piazzas, promenades, and old city walls while other cruise ships are wasting time away from the action. There's nothing quite like standing on deck as a new city skyline peaks over the horizon, ready to be explored.
Itineraries balance must-see destinations, like Rome, Barcelona, and Venice, with smaller ports like Kotor and Portofino. Whether you choose the West Mediterranean or the East, you'll get a balanced combination of golden beaches, cultured cities, and storied history.
In warm weather, Regent's ultra-luxurious ships really come into their own, with stunning outdoor spaces that'll make you relish any sea days. The sun-soaked climate means there are departures across the whole year.
Northern Europe
Regent ships visit 550 destinations across all seven continents, but we're going to do a deep dive on Europe here, as the ultra-luxury cruise line currently has a free suite upgrade on European sailings, when you book before 31 October, 2025).
Northern Europe is one of the most practical regions to explore by sea—not least because it is right on our doorstep. You can sail as far as the Arctic Circle with no flights, and minimal sea days at that. Many of the region's biggest and most historic cities are right on the coast thanks to their maritime heritage, so you're always in the heart of the action.
What's even better is the variety. Culture vultures have everything from the grand, onion-domed palaces of the Baltics to the cosy canalside cafés of Amsterdam. Nature lovers can hike the Fjords and go whale-spotting in Greenland. You don't need to pick one style of cruising, as a single trip can give you a taste of everything.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has just released a brand-new collection of voyages for 2027 and 2028. There are 234 new itineraries to choose from, and there's a real focus on immersive exploration, with more overnight stays in port than ever before.
There are 19 new ports of call worldwide. In Northern Europe, four new ports of call include Aberdeen and Scrabster in the far north of Scotland; Hamina, the oldest town in southeast Finland; and Greencastle, from where you can tour Ireland's stunning Inishowen Peninsula.
In the Mediterranean, ships will call at six new ports, including Rovinj, often called the most beautiful town in Istria; Milos, the Greek island home to one of Lonely Planet's best beaches in the world; Canakkale, the gateway to Turkey's WW2 Gallipoli battlefields; and Savona, your base for exploring the Italian Riviera.

Epicurean Spotlight Cruises
Every cruise with Regent is a gourmand's paradise, but Epicurean Spotlight voyages go above and beyond. The entire itinerary is a deep dive into a specific topic, featuring one-of-a-kind on board and shoreside experiences.
This September, a culinary voyage through the Mediterranean will be led by Chef Kent Rathburn—the visionary behind the iconic restaurants Abacus and Jasper's. He'll host live demos, tastings, and Q&A sessions onboard ship, and his signature tasting menus will tell the story behind every port.
We also love the look of the upcoming itinerary created in partnership with Whisky Advocate magazine. As you cruise through Northern Europe, you'll sample fine Irish whiskeys, Scottish single malts, and Norway's signature aquavit. You'll also enjoy specialist tours of the distilleries, pubs, and breweries en route.

Eco Connect
Behind The Design
Behind the Design tours are a small collection of excursions focused on appreciating iconic architecture. You'll learn all about some of the world's most beautiful buildings, including the Munchmuseet in Oslo, the MuCEM in Marseille, and Toree Glories in Barcelona.
On one tour from the collection, you can explore Copenhagen with an architectural historian. They'll explain The Crystal's innovative glass design, discuss why the Black Diamond intentionally tilts and expands from top to bottom, and talk all about the country's dedication to modern, sustainable design.
It's great to get an insider's take on issues facing architecture today. Sometimes, you'll even be able to gain insight into the architect's original vision, beyond the blueprints.
Wellness Tours
Regent is part of the "Sail and Sustain" global sustainability programme. They've created 150 Eco Connect tours to help guests get involved in shaping the future. These tours dig much deeper than you might expect, engaging with local groups and businesses as they work to improve their local environment.
Some of the experiences sound lovely: strolling through organic farms, swirling a glass of natural wine, and enjoying farm-to-table meals. But others lift the curtain on the bigger, grittier side of sustainability: think touring Europe's largest solar energy research centre, stepping inside a nuclear-waste processing facility, or even rolling up your sleeves to join a hands-on beach cleanup or tree-planting effort. The idea isn't just to show the pleasant, acceptable face of sustainability. You'll get a behind-the-scenes look at the real challenges companies face in reshaping the planet's future, and have the chance to contribute, even if only in small ways.
Restaurants aboard Regent ships are famously exemplary. Every dining venue is included in the cruise fare, and you could eat prime dry-aged steak or a whole lobster every night, if you felt inclined. Service is top notch, and you can customise your meals to your personal tastes and preferences.
But this bubble of epicurean delight doesn't begin and end on the ship. Regent runs a roster of chef-led excursions, where the expert chefs from the Culinary Arts Kitchen lead shoreside visits especially for foodies. You can go shopping at bustling open-air stalls, taste ingredients in the greenhouses where they've been grown, or even go beachcombing for freshly foraged seafood. In markets and bazaars, chefs can point out the best places to find souvenirs like spices, oil, and herbs. And, if you're taking a course at the Culinary Arts Kitchen, you can also hand-pick the ingredients to bring back on board.
Culinary Arts Kitchen
Regent's Culinary Arts Kitchen is a state-of-the-art, professional-grade culinary classroom that features on Seven Seas Grandeur, Seven Seas Splendor, and Seven Seas Explorer. From $99 per guest, you can book personalised, hands-on cooking classes and learn to prepare regional specialties reflecting your favourite port of call. Everyone gets an individual prep station with two induction burners and top-notch equipment. It's like going to a prestigious culinary school, with no pressure from any aspiring Gordon Ramsays.
You might roll fresh pasta in Italy, perfect the delicate techniques of French pastry, or focus on more general concepts like mastering knife skills or cooking with high heat. There are also courses specially designed for hosting simple, elegant dinner parties and effortless weekend brunches. You're bound to return with some fresh ideas for your next party, and a story or two for your friends.
Regent already offer gourmet healthy cuisine, spa and steamroom access, and complimentary fitness classes on board the ship. Wellness Tours let you turn your cruise into a holistic experience from end to end.
Many Wellness Tours are included as part of Regent's Unlimited Shore Excursions, while others require a discounted supplementary charge. A sampling of the options that come at no extra fee include a breezy hike along a cliff-lined beach in Basque Country, yoga on a golden-sand beach in Tenerife, and swimming on an isolated beach in the Sorrentine Peninsula.
For a supplement, you can enjoy some elevated experiences that include treatments or massages. Soak in Terme dei Papi, the thermal waters enjoyed for centuries by the Italian popes, or bathe in thermal waters in a volcanic crater on Nea Kameni, Santorini.
Immersive overnights
Evening shore excursions
Evenings are often when a city reveals its true character. That's why Regent has curated a selection of evening shore excursions, featuring experiences that just wouldn't be the same in the daylight.
You could enjoy a sunset cruise around the bay of Zadar, attend a recital of Baroque music at a grand theatre in Venice, or hear some traditional ghost stories on an eerie, lantern-lit tour of Stockholm's Old Town.
Regent can even take you to an elegant Tuscan estate, once owned by the Medici family in the 1500s. After a full day of exploration, you'll taste organic wines in the Medieval cellar and feast on an evening meal prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Savour seasonal dishes like paccheri pasta with pecorino cheese or warming chicken broth with fresh roasted vegetables.
Immersive Overnight Voyages
Regent's specialised Immersive Overnight voyages are designed to offer a completely new perspective on destinations—even the ones that you've been to before. On these select itineraries, you'll get overnight stays in every single port. The philosophy is simple: travelling more slowly and mindfully leads to richer memories.
The new Sunset Over Tuscany sailing, for example, is 12 nights long, but it actually only calls at four ports: Valletta, Naples, Tuscany, and Provence. This gives guests more time engage with every destination and fully immerse themselves in the local culture. There's no need to stick to the usual tourist trail. Take advantage of late nights to roam further from the cruise port, and fully relax in the places that take your fancy most. The world is really your oyster (if you haven't had enough of those on the ship, that is).
See ports by night
Spending the night in port is a real luxury—it can completely change the feel of a cruise. Regent is dedicated to including overnight stopovers wherever possible, with many itineraries allowing for at least one overnight stay. Some specialised Immersive Overnight departures including overnight stays in every single port.
This all means that, instead of rushing back to the ship for a 5pm departure, you can linger just like a local. You'll experience the authentic, after-hours culture. Think live fado music in a dark bar in Lisbon, a long, lazy tapas session under the setting sun in Seville, or simply seeing big sights like Dubrovnik's City Walls without the crowds.
As a floating 6-star hotel is waiting around the corner, you don't need to worry about any of the logistics of accommodation. Just head back whenever you're ready to call it a night.
