Star Princess
Princess Cruises has made headlines in the travel world for the launch of its new line of Sphere Class ships. In just a few short months, Star Princess will take to the ocean, marking the next big milestone in the cruise line's evolution. Like its award-winning sister ship, Sun Princess, which debuted in 2024, Star Princess ushers in a world of new features, from buzzworthy dining venues to stellar viewing areas and spaces, plus onboard accommodations and perks that have been reimagined for this next-generation Princess ship.
And perhaps just as exciting as what you'll find onboard is where you can go on a Star Princess cruise. The brand-new ship's Caribbean sailings begin in November 2025—followed by its first season of Alaska sailings kicking off in May 2026. The ship was purpose-built to sail Alaska, allowing guests to immerse in the beauty of the Great Land at a whole new level. Whether you're dreaming of brilliant sun and swaying palms or blue-tinged glaciers and epic wildlife, Star Princess lets the beauty of the outdoors in with its modern, light-filled design. Star Princess' viewing spaces will give guests front-row seats to the Caribbean's unmatched blue and green beauty. But Princess' Caribbean itineraries also build in opportunities to get to know the islands through fascinating shore excursions. Immerse in culture and natural beauty in ports like Amber Cove, Dominican Republic, where your choice of 31 adventures awaits. From an authentic Dominican fiesta to cigar crafting to a female-owned chocolate cooperative, Princess offers guests the chance to dive deep into local life. On Grand Turk in Turks and Caicos, discover beloved conch recipes, paint with local artists or indulge in a curated rum tasting. Meanwhile, Roatan, Honduras overflows with natural wonders, whether you opt to visit the Gumbalimba Preservation Nature Park, where encounters with friendly monkeys and macaws are a near certainty; or zipline over the tree canopy for an aerial view of the verdant island. Of course, relaxing beach days on the Caribbean Sea are fantastic options, too.
Tropics-inspired dining
Princess Cruises always include a wide selection of fresh seafood as part of the dining experience, but Star Princess Alaska cruises go a step further. Alaska-caught salmon, scallops and crab are among the delicacies that might take center stage on your plate at The Catch by Rudi restaurant. Try Chef Rudi Sodamin's signature Fruits de Mer seafood tower, showcasing the freshest oysters, shrimp, lobster and more. After a day of exploration, a steaming bowl of Mussels Provencale or Seafaring Stew is a delicious way to warm up. And Sanctuary Collection guests will find Alaska-inspired dishes on the exclusive Sanctuary Restaurant as well.
If you've booked a fishing excursion during your Alaska cruise, you're in for a treat. With Princess' Cook My Catch program, Star Princess' chefs will prepare your just-caught fish for a dinner to remember once you're back on board.

Star Princess delights on multiple levels—literally. New for Sphere Class ships, the glass-enclosed Dome spans several floors, hosting a pool and solarium by day and a performance venue by night. The spherical Piazza is also three stories tall, with wrap-around windows, plush seating and entertainment on a large LED screen at the center of the space. It's also a go-to spot for live entertainment, dining and incredible views. The new open and airy main dining space offers seating—and wake views—on three levels. Even the Lotus Spa, which boasts Princess' most extensive treatment menu to date, inhabits multiple decks. Entertainment spaces on the ship are "next-level," too: the 990-seat Princess Arena theater, for example, with state-of-the-art lighting and an immersive sound system. It's the fleet's most technologically advanced performance space, boasting three configurations for various types of shows—including Broadway-style productions.

Star Princess' accommodations options include Sanctuary Collection staterooms and suites. New for Sphere Class ships, these luxurious, spacious quarters come with a host of elevated perks. Only Sanctuary Collection guests get access to the luxe Sanctuary Club, an adults-only (ages 16+) top-deck retreat. There you'll find a pool and Jacuzzi, attentive beverage and light-bites service, live music, private cabanas (additional charge applies) and plush furniture.
Another experience that's reserved just for Sanctuary Collection guests: bespoke daily menus in an exclusive restaurant—no reservations needed. Princess Premier benefits are included, too. That means unlimited specialty dining meals, premium cocktails, wines by the glass, specialty coffees, smoothies, fresh juices and mocktails. Professional photos and unlimited premium Wi-Fi for up to four devices are also covered.
Brand new for the line's two Sphere Class ships is an art-infused dining concept you'll only find on Princess: Love by Britto. Brazilian art sensation Romero Britto is behind the aesthetics and vibe of the restaurant, where everything from the walls to the menu to the dinner plates—and even presentation of the food itself—carries the artist's signature playful shapes, colors and patterns. Crafted by Chef Rudi Sodamin, Princess' head of culinary arts, the elevated menu ties in themes of love and romance with aphrodisiac-centered dishes, pink Champagne, garnishes of gold leaf and rose petals plus an indulgent dessert menu.
There are more exciting newcomers on Sun Princess and Star Princess, too, including The Butcher's Block by Dario, a Tuscan steakhouse that delivers ultra-prime cuts; Umai Teppanyaki, with cooked-at-your table Japanese cuisine served with theatrical flair; and Makoto Ocean by master chef Makoto Okuwa, whose mouthwatering menu puts a modern twist on traditional handcrafted sushi.
Immerse in island life
Soak in the island views
Star Princess, like its sister ship Sun Princess, was designed with light in mind. Its glass-encased Dome—equipped with inviting lounge chairs, a pool and a Jacuzzi—is the ideal place to soak in the Caribbean's famous sunshine. The Piazza's panoramic views give you a sense of place while you unwind and dine. Greet each new island from your private balcony, stunning public spaces or the exclusive Sanctuary Club on the ship's top deck. With its next-level visibility into the outside world, Star Princess blurs the barriers between the ship, the sky, the sea and the islands it calls on.

Sailing to Alaska on Star Princess—or any Princess ship for that matter—means touring the Great Land with Alaska cruise experts. Princess is well known as a pioneer of Alaska cruises; the line began escorting guests to its wild, icy shores in 1969. Its extensive menu of Alaska shore excursions will bring you even closer to the wilderness, history, culture and cuisine that sets Alaska apart. In Ketchikan, venture to Saxman Native Village to witness an indigenous dance performance and learn about Tlingit art. Or grab a ticket to the axe-tossing and log-spinning Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show, followed by an all-you-can-eat Dungeness crab feast. In Juneau, explore an underground mine and pan for gold of your own—or take a summertime sled ride pulled by a real Alaska sled-dog team. From Skagway, known as the "gateway to the gold fields" during the gold rush, take a scenic ride up the Klondike Highway to the White Pass Mountain summit; or seize the spirit of adventure with a mountaineer-led rock climbing and rappelling tour.

Princess puts the Caribbean's famously fresh, colorful and aromatic culinary offerings on the menu each day of your cruise, so you can taste the unique specialties of the region even between ports. Whether you're craving a smoky-spicy plate of Jamaican jerk chicken, a sweet and refreshing batido (smoothie) or a bowl of hearty and comforting Dominican sancocho, there's a good chance you'll find it among the diverse delicacies available in Main Dining during your Caribbean cruise.
The island influence also makes its way onto the drinks menu for Star Princess Caribbean cruises. Created by master mixologist Rob Floyd, the craft cocktail program at the Good Spirits At Sea venue (inspired by the hit TV series, Good Spirits) features an array of cocktails infused with Caribbean flavors. Guests can also enjoy bartender demonstrations accompanied by stories that connect each drink's ingredients to the region.

Adventures on shore
High on any Alaska cruiser's wishlist is the desire to immerse in the region's natural wonders. Star Princess' design makes it possible to see and feel Alaska's majesty before even stepping off the ship. Just one example: On its Inside Passage cruises, Star Princess sails through 30-mile-long Endicott Arm Fjord. From a comfortable spot in the glass-roofed Dome, guests can bask in the stunning sights all around them: towering mountains, floating icebergs and the enormous Dawes Glacier at the fjord's head. Wildlife viewing opps from the ship's glass-encased viewing spaces abound; see soaring bald eagles overhead, breaching whales and sea lions lounging on ice floes.
Beyond the breathtaking views, Star Princess' Alaska sailings will include bespoke guest experiences that add context and depth to the journey. Through the cruise line's immersive North to Alaska programming, guests will encounter local personalities, culture and food both on and off the ship.
