Just a few kilometers south of Jasper is the spectacular Valley of the 5 Lakes Trail. This moderately-paced stroll meanders past five turquise mountain lakes and includes great views of the Canadian Rockies throughout. In addition to the spectacular scenery, this is a great place to bird-watch and catch glimpses of the occasional elk or beaver.
