Optimization on Any Hybrid or Multicloud
How much capacity do you need to onboard new services? How much headroom do you have?
AI-Generated Continuous Placement & Rescheduling
With Turbonomic, you can deliver on the Kubernetes promise of speed, agility, elasticity at mulitcloud scale.
How should you size containers?
Manage Kubernetes at Multicloud Scale
Workloads that peak together are automatically redistributed to satisfy their exact resource needs and avoid “noisy neighbor” contention.
Minimal Human Intervention
Turbonomic continuously makes the right resource decisions at the right time so you don't have to. Watch this webinar preview to see just how smart its actions are. Or, watch the full webinar to learn how Turbonomic makes Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, and Pivotal PKS self-managing anywhere in real time. That's SMART.
Turbonomic automatically makes resource decisions at multicloud scale.
Container workloads rely on nodes or cells that can service demand. Turbonomic places nodes or cells on hosts or storage with the right resource capacity to ensure container workloads get what they need when they need it.

Only Turbonomic can reschedule existing pods while assuring high availability of your service to prevent congestion from noisy neighbors or node resource starvation. Smart continuous placement can also reduce resource fragmentation allowing for more pods to be deployed. These decisions are specific and real-time--determining when and to which node a pod should be rescheduled. Customers often start with automating placement.

The right actions for every layer of the stack.
It's about 24/7/365 intelligent automation. Because you were destined for bigger things.
Only Turbonomic continuously analyzes containers' real-time demand for CPU and memory to determine (and adjust) the right CPU and memory limits and requests. Turbonomic will maintain your SLOs and manage pod scaling to the number of replicas needed for performance. No need to set these thresholds for every single service!
Container rightsizing actioms can be executed in real-time (for stateless apps) or as part of your deployment process, ex. CI/CD.
Turbonomic supports any upstream distribution of Kubernetes.
Organizations are adopting containers to bring apps and services to market faster. Kubernetes provides the building blocks to manage and orchestrate containerized environments, but it's still on you to optimize them.
Turbonomic automatically ensures your application services get the resources they need to perform so that you can rapidly scale your investments in containers and cloud native.
When do you need to scale out (or back) the cluster? By how much?
Resource fragmentation occurs when the CPU and Memory requirements of new container workloads cannot be scheduled to a node (or cell). Turbonomic avoids this issue by rescheduling existing container workloads before placing new workloads.
In this example, CPU/Memory from the dark gray pod on “Node 2” would be rescheduled to “Node 1” to make room for the new pod on “Node 2.”
Key features & benefits
Turbonomic optimizes every layer of the stack, from containers through infrastructure. You and your teams have a common source of truth.
Turbonomic is continuously analyzing the environment and providing actions to optimize it. You can set Turbonomic to full automation--executing actions in real time--or you can execute them as part of your existing processes.
Turbonomic is providing the answers to questions that are critical to effectively managing application resources. Automate them when and how you want.

When do you need to reschedule pods? To which node?
Turbonomic has a complete understanding of your entire stack (not just your Kubernetes clusters), which is what allows the software to make decisions that are accurate and automatable for every layer. Application performance is only as good as your weakes tier.
The containerization is a journey—one that starts with the first few applications and then expands as you demonstrate success and demand for your next-gen application platforms rapidly grows. For customers that are looking to accelerate the onboarding of new applications and services as part of their platform-first initiatives, Turbonomic offers the easiest, most accurate way to plan for this growth. For example, customers can determine how much headroom they have in their clusters, or simulate adding (or removing) demand (Kubernetes pods).
