Sprawled across 195,000 acres of the Mojave Desert, this picturesque geological attraction offers 30 miles of hiking trails, as well as ample rock climbing and mountain biking opportunities. Admire the Seven Magic Mountains art installation
Created by acclaimed Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, this site-specific artwork stands out like a beacon amid the arid desert landscape. Situated within the Ivanpah Valley and adjacent to several mountain ranges, the installation comprises seven towers of vividly hued boulders stacked more than 30 feet high. It was originally scheduled to be on view for two years but continues to be on display due to its popularity — currently, it will be open through the end of 2021.
