Barbados is every beach lover’s dream
Mention Barbados to anyone and images of crystal-clear waters and powder-soft sands will likely spring to mind — after all, the tropical island is a paradise for beach lovers. If it’s sunbathing you’re after, Crane Beach is a scenic choice with its pink-hued sands flanked by towering coconut palms and dramatic cliffs. For water-sports action, the island’s east coast is great for experienced surfers.
Where to stay: Hilton Grand Vacations at The Crane sits atop majestic cliffs overlooking the soft sands of Crane Beach. The multi-bedroom suites hark back to a different era, with elegant four-poster beds and lavish marble accents, but also feature modern amenities such as a full kitchen and a jetted tub.

You can go surfing in the waters off Honolulu in Oahu

With warm weather all year round and award-winning beaches throughout the state, Hawaii is a perennial favorite with sun-seeking vacationers. Whether you’re a surfer or simply enjoy watching others carve the waves, the spectacular beaches on Oahu won’t disappoint. Or try your hand at outrigger canoeing — read our Oahu feature in the Summer 2021 issue of Club Traveler for more inspiration. The Big Island also offers an array of outdoor activities — trek to the summit of the dormant Mauna Kea volcano or traipse through the lush rainforests of Hilo.
Where to stay: Grand Waikikian by Hilton Grand Vacations is a beautiful resort on Oahu. It offers easy access to the amenities of Hilton Hawaiian Village® Waikiki Beach Resort, as well as Waikiki’s sandy shores. If you’re planning to make your base on The Big Island, consider staying at Kings’ Land by Hilton Grand Vacations, which is conveniently situated in the heart of Waikoloa.

As part of the Malama Hawaii initiative, HGV recently partnered with nonprofit youth organization Kupu to host a Kewalo Sunset Dinner for a group of HGV Owners and Club Members. The evening was filled with great food, drinks and dancing, with music courtesy of renowned Oahu performer Eric Lee. Proceeds from the event went toward creating paid job training opportunities for Hawaii’s youth.
“We received exceptional feedback from Owners and Club Members, who found such value in this intimate event that connected them to the community,” says Dennise Watanabe, Director of Marketing – Hawaii Pre-arrival at HGV. “This event is one of many examples that points to HGV’s commitment to the initiative.”

Take the plunge at Universal Orlando™ Resort
Home to world-famous theme parks, such as Walt Disney World® Resort and Universal Orlando™ Resort, it’s hardly surprising that the City Beautiful is such a hit with families. Plus, temperatures are mild even in winter, so you can spend hours on end enjoying the rides and rollercoasters without worrying about the weather. For some downtime, pack a picnic and head to Cocoa Beach, which is about a one-hour drive from downtown Orlando. Or enjoy a leisurely meal at one of Orlando’s many top-notch restaurants — read the Summer 2021 issue of Club Traveler for more on the city’s thriving culinary scene.
Where to stay: Parc Soleil by Hilton Grand Vacations, which is inspired by the French Riviera, recently received an extensive facelift. The multi-bedroom suites feature a full kitchen, spacious living and dining areas, as well as a balcony.

On your next trip to the Aloha State, consider giving back to the local environment and community through the Malama Hawaii initiative, which enables travelers to participate in enriching experiences offered by local nonprofit organizations. Available activities include reforestation projects and beach clean-ups.

Beaches aside, be sure to check out the Art Deco architecture in South Beach, Miami
No trip to Miami is complete without visiting the legendary South Beach neighborhood — which, as the name suggests, is home to a gorgeous stretch of sand. The beach runs from 5th to 15th Streets along Ocean Drive, and attracts crowds of sunseekers no matter the season. Alternatively, head north to the quieter 21st–45th Street Beach, where you’ll have more room to spread out. Check out our Miami feature in the Spring 2021 issue of Club Traveler for more vacation planning ideas.
Where to stay: Hilton Grand Vacations at McAlpin–Ocean Plaza is right in the heart of South Beach, which means you’ll be within easy reach of the district’s most popular bistros, bars and boutiques.
