As temperatures rise, it’s time to embrace the joys of summer and immerse yourself in the great outdoors. As the resorts featured below are typically in high demand, we recommend planning ahead and booking as soon as the Club reservation window allows.
When in Maui, be sure to catch the sunrise on the summit of Haleakala

If you’re dreaming of a tropical getaway, you can’t go wrong with Maui, which is home to dramatic peaks, crashing surf and sun-soaked beaches. A must-visit is Haleakala, a volcanic crater that’s one of the best places on the island to catch the sunrise. Adrenaline-seekers can try cliff diving off Black Rock on Kaanapali Beach, while those who prefer something more low-octane can head to the Seven Sacred Pools, a series of cascading waterfalls encircled by lush rainforest.
Where to stay: Embrace the beauty of Maalaea Bay with a relaxing stay at Maui Bay Villas, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club. Each of the resort’s luxurious suites comes with a full kitchen, spacious living and dining areas, and postcard-perfect views of the coast. Be sure to book early to secure your stay at this popular resort.

Nicknamed the “Village by the Sea” for its laid-back vibe and charming architecture, Carlsbad is the perfect summer destination — and not just because of its sandy beaches. The downtown commercial area of Carlsbad Village is where you can sample fine Californian vintages at various wine bars and purchase fresh produce at the weekly farmers market. Other key attractions in the vicinity include LEGOLAND® California Resort, a sprawling theme park with more than 60 rides, interactive attractions and shows.
Where to stay: MarBrisa, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club is a beautiful resort designed in the Spanish Mediterranean style. Here, you can spend balmy summer afternoons lounging by the resort’s three outdoor pools, ideally with a cocktail in hand.

Home to world-famous theme parks such as Walt Disney World® Resort, SeaWorld® Orlando and Universal Orlando™ Resort, the City Beautiful in the Sunshine State is a popular summertime pick for families. But thrills and spills aside, there’s much else to see and do in Orlando and surrounding areas. Try stand-up paddleboarding along the scenic waterways, immerse yourself in nature at Wekiwa Springs State Park or sample the city’s flourishing culinary scene.
Where to stay: Make your base at Tuscany Village, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club, which features amenities including lakefront walking paths and swimming pools with water features. The resort is conveniently located just minutes away from Orlando’s major theme parks, as well as a plethora of shopping and dining options.
