We recently announced HGV’s plan to acquire Bluegreen Vacations, expanding our resort and destination footprint even further.
“I’m excited to enhance the breadth and quality of our already best-in-class vacation ownership and experiences offering with the announcement of our agreement to acquire Bluegreen Vacations,” said Mark Wang, president and CEO of Hilton Grand Vacations. “We’re confident that our Team Members, Owners, Members, shareholders and consumers will all significantly benefit from the combination of these exceptional organizations.”
The planned acquisition will expand HGV’s offering with the addition of 48 managed resorts in 14 new destinations such as Nashville, New Orleans, San Antonio and Vail, and in eight new states. The acquisition also will bring our new total Members to over 740,000 worldwide.
By adding Bluegreen Vacations to the HGV family, Members with HGV Max benefits will have access to more vacation options across an even larger portfolio — from 150 resorts to nearly 200 properties — as opportunities to make reservations across the combined portfolio become available.
The new acquisition is expected to close during the first half of 2024. As with the rebranding of Diamond Resorts, integrating Bluegreen Vacations will be a multi-year, phased initiative. Please rest assured you will continue to receive the same level of service you’ve come to expect from us and access to your vacation ownership, usage rights and membership will stay the same.
We hope you enjoyed the past year of travel with us and have a memorable holiday season

We’re proud of recent renovations and improvements to properties like Mystic Dunes, a Hilton Vacation Club
What a year! Whether you’ve returned to your favorite resorts or discovered new hidden gems, we hope you’ve enjoyed the past year of travel adventures with Hilton Grand Vacations. Read more for everything you need to know before we say goodbye to 2023 and welcome the new year.
Exciting announcement: Hilton Grand Vacations plans to acquire Bluegreen Vacations
When Hilton Grand Vacations acquired Diamond Resorts in 2021, we promised to keep you informed on integration efforts between the two companies. As part of our evolving integration initiatives, we are pleased to announce another enhancement to improve your Member experience.
Starting December 5, the nightly points rate across HGVClub and The Club programs has been aligned — making the percentage of nightly points needed for a reservation within HGVClub and The Club programs the same for all Members.
Previously, the percentage of nightly points rates based on a 7-Night stay was 10% for Monday through Thursday nights and 20% for Friday through Sunday nights.
Changes are coming to nightly points values
We take your comments and feedback seriously and are always looking for ways to enhance your reading experience. Following a recent reader survey, we’ve carefully considered your preferences and are adjusting our newsletter schedule for 2024. Starting in January, your Club Traveler newsletter will be sent to you every other month. This means instead of receiving four articles monthly, starting in January, you can anticipate eight informative articles every other month with the same Club news, membership advice and travel inspiration you’ve come to expect from us.
Your Club Traveler magazine will stay the same in frequency; however, we are always working to enhance the look, feel and on-page user experience. Throughout 2023, we debuted new features in the magazine, including ultimate itineraries showcased through beautiful photography in “Postcard From Las Vegas” and “Postcard From New York City,” restaurant recommendations in “A Perfect Bite” and our travel awards for 2024, “Hilton Grand Vacations 10 Best.”

A year in review
We’re committed to providing our Members with exceptional vacation experiences, where amazing travel memories are made. Each year, we work to elevate your membership experience to ensure every visit to our properties matches the level of service you’ve come to expect from HGV. Here are some of our achievements for 2023.
Property renovations
We’re proud to continuously update our properties for your comfort and enjoyment. Renovations throughout 2023 include:
Mystic Dunes, a Hilton Vacation Club: The Mystic Dunes Golf Course underwent an entire renovation, featuring resurfacing greens and adding a new driving range tee, chipping and putting green, as well as enhancing the surrounding greenery with local trees and wildlife.
Daytona Beach Regency, a Hilton Vacation Club: We resealed the building frame and replaced the exterior pool deck with a rubberized pebble surface, as well as completed exterior painting and fencing projects. We also repainted room interiors and replaced the hallway and in-unit carpets, room appliances, televisions, couches, artwork and mattresses.
The Bay Club, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club: The property underwent an extensive renovation on all 168 units, including new flooring and carpet, new paint, new living room furniture and TV with Innspire, new dining room chairs and stools and new bedroom furniture.
The Cove on Ormond Beach, a Hilton Vacation Club: We repainted the exterior of the building, as well as resealed the building frame and windows. Inside the property, we replaced the hallway carpet and paint, as well as the unit window coverings, appliances, televisions, carpet, furniture, mattresses, paint and artwork.
Kings’ Land, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club: The resort recently completed Phase 3 of a soft goods renovation in 124 units that included fresh paint throughout the unit; new sofa sleepers, side chairs, televisions and window treatments in the living rooms; new carpeting, mattresses and televisions in the bedrooms; and the installation of back-lit mirrors in the primary bathrooms.

Our commitment to sustainability is ever evolving to meet your needs and our responsibility to the planet
We recently produced our second annual Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report. We recognize our responsibility to be good stewards of the environment and take this commitment seriously. We’re incredibly proud of the progress made throughout 2023, especially in the areas of:
Energy: Over the past year, we installed energy-saving products and technologies, such as low-flow toilets, LED lights, energy-efficient aerators and showerheads, among other appliances that reduce water and energy consumption.
Water: At many of our resorts, we also installed water-use-reducing appliances in Guest rooms, as well as sustainable features like rainwater collection systems, drip irrigation, timers on pool showers and indigenous plants and flowers throughout the grounds that require less water. In addition, we continue our partnership and support of the We Are Water Foundation in Europe. To date, we have reduced the use of plastic bottles by 97% in our European resorts and invite Guests to use We Are Water refillable aluminum water bottles, which are sold at our reception desks. For every bottle purchased, HGV donates 1 euro (pound) to
the foundation. By participating, Members and Guests not only reduce use of single-use plastic but also make a positive contribution through We Are Water’s ongoing global efforts.
Waste: We’re proud to partner with Clean the World™ and participate in its soap recycling program, which not only reduces waste and keeps soap out of landfills but also recycles soap for communities in need to support healthy hygiene. All HGV-branded properties in the United States participate in this program and we recently expanded our efforts in the United Kingdom.
Hilton Vacation Club Ka’anapali Beach recently welcomed its first Guests since the wildfires on West Maui
Update from Maui
Thank you for your ongoing support of our Team Members on the island as Maui continues to recover from the horrific fires earlier this year.
For those who have trips planned to the island, we are pleased to let you know Hilton Vacation Club Ka’anapali Beach resumed welcoming arrivals on November 1, 2023, when travel restrictions to the area north of West Maui, from Ka'anapali to Kahana, were lifted. Maui Bay Villas, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club, located in Kihei, is also open and accepting arrivals.
Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai and Hawaii Island were not affected by the fires, and areas outside of West Maui, including Kahului, Wailuku, Kihei, Wailea, Makena, Pa’ia and Hana are also open for business and welcoming visitors. However, Lahaina will remain closed to the public until further notice out of respect for the town’s residents. Visitors to Maui help to support the local economy and Lahaina’s ability to rebuild, but please be mindful when visiting affected areas and do so with aloha and compassion. Help us to collectively mālama (care for) Maui.
Our commitment to sustainability
