To make a booking for next year using this year’s points, you first need to save your current-year points into next year. You can easily Save your current year Points into next year online. For a step-by-step tutorial on saving your points online, visit the Manage My Points page on the Club website. Once your points are saved, you can book next year’s Club reservation. As a reminder, the earlier in the year you save your points, the more you save on the transaction fee. For example, Members who save their unused points before August 31, 2023, pay a transaction fee of either $109 (online) or $129 (by phone). Members who save their unused points before November 30, 2023, pay a transaction fee of either $129 (online) or $149 (by phone). And Members who wait to save their points until December 31, 2023, pay a transaction fee of either $199 (online) or $219 (by phone).

I want to use my current-year HGV ClubPoints for a Club reservation in the following calendar year. What steps do I need to follow?

The Club website offers planning inspiration for all our destinations. Simply access the Things To Do tab located on each property page on the Club website for ideas on fun activities you can do on your upcoming trip, including resort events, recommended dining and nearby excursions. You can also elevate your upcoming vacation by booking an HGV Ultimate Access experience. Available exclusively to Members and Guests, this exciting platform provides access to select entertainment and culinary events. To see if an event will be held during your upcoming trip, visit the HGV Ultimate Access webpage and browse the See Upcoming Events links.

I’ve confirmed my reservation. What should I do next?

I have a question about my reservation and need assistance. What is the most expedient way to get help?

To view a summary of your current points, visit your Member Dashboard located on the Club website. Once you access the dashboard, a breakdown of your available points can be found under the Club Currency Summary. The summary also indicates which points allotment will expire first.

What’s the best way to keep track of my points’ expiration date?

The best time to book your vacation with HGV is as far out as the reservation window allows. It is also beneficial to be flexible with your travel dates along with your preferred resort in the destinations where we have multiple properties. Reservation windows vary by property and are provided on the Club website. To identify the reservation window for your desired resort, select the destination on the Club website. In the Selected Dates field, enter the dates you wish to travel. Then, under each property name, select View Booking Eligibility. A pop-up window will then display your booking eligibility dates.

What benefits can I access by joining HGV Max?

Booking as far out as the reservation window will provide you with the optimal opportunity for securing your desired destination and dates.

What properties are available for booking by HGV Max Members during the HGV Max reservation window?

The most efficient and resourceful way to get the information you need about your vacation is on the Club website. To access your reservation, visit the Club website and scroll down to the Upcoming Vacation section on your Member Dashboard. From there, you can select View Reservation Details, Add Guest Certificate, Change Reservation or Cancel Reservation. On the HGV mobile app, navigate to the Trips tab and select My Stay.
