To receive timely notification that your Annual Assessment Statement — which includes your maintenance fees and any applicable dues — has been posted to your account, it’s important to verify that your contact information and communications preferences are updated. You can do so in the Preferences section of your Member Area (under My Account).
If you haven’t opted in to receive digital association and loan communications, you’ll receive your assessment billing notice in the mail sometime in the fall. If you’ve opted in, you’ll receive an email notification with links to your statement and other important documents.
Given ongoing postal delays, opting in to digital communications is the best way to ensure timely, hassle-free delivery. For instance, did you know that in 2021, certain mailing and shipping services between the United States and Australia were suspended, which delayed the delivery of assessment billing notices?

It’s that time of the year once again. Assessment billing season kicked off in September when your board of directors met to establish the annual budget. Here are key tips to keep in mind to help ensure a smooth assessment billing process:

How are maintenance fees calculated?
Your resorts’ committees meet annually to agree on a budget for the upcoming year. The committees review the yearly expenses required to operate the timeshare interest, and then forecast the operating budget needed for the upcoming year in relation to those expenses. A breakdown of the items calculated in your maintenance fees can be found on your assessment billing notice.
