Using BI Reporting
We have created reports in BI to help us assess and track if employees are actively working, working from home, or not working though at home and using the report to calculate measured discretionary bonuses to reward those going above and beyond during the pandemic.
Closing conference rooms, no gatherings, closing gym, water fountains and showers, adding directional signage for one-way traffic, no visitors, no food events, non-essential business travel prohibited, reduced occupancy in break rooms and limited bathrooms to 1 person at a time, touchless device installation (toilets, sinks, soap, paper towels, hand sanitizer stations), propping open doorways to minimize touchpoints and increase air flow, prohibited sharing of equipment, creation of a pandemic safety officer and committee.
Increased ventilation, shut down of common areas, pre-screening before entry with questions, temp check and visual check for symptoms. Banning of visitors. Restricted travel that requires mandatory quarantine for 14 days upon return. Safety training for all employees.

How you are feeling about your work and personal life at this time.
Advice for other HR practitioners based on what you’ve learned so far.
Take Initiative
Take the initiative to seek to understand the impact the pandemic has and will continue to have on your organization overall, your financial and your human resources, including your employees' health and wellbeing. The impact is very far reaching and every HR professional has a significant and valuable role throughout this time period. Take care of yourselves too.
Give them Space
The biggest thing is to remind your employees is that this is temporary and to try to work with people as much as possible; be flexible with their needs. Just because they are home, doesn't mean that they should be on 100% of the time. Give them space to breathe and enjoy time away from work tasks.
Open Communication
Encourage your leaders from your organization to communicate about how they are dealing with COVID-19, impacts its having on the company and the business. Keep an open communication channel for leaders to have dialogues with all staff.

FROM Survey 1
"Grateful to be able to continue to operate remotely for work while being close to my family so we can support one another personally. It is a delicate balance, however, and sometimes the line between work and personal time is blurred."
"It's manageable but I'm constantly thinking about how to support our company's essential workers and weather a longer-term pandemic."
"Work is business as usual but with the addition of COVID-19 activities so the work volume has increased. Work has therefore taken over what would have been personal time. I have concerns about the economy, the duration that this pandemic is forecasted and for how others will be able to cope with the economic and psychological impacts of the shelter in place orders."
