Save time by avoiding the manual input of data thanks to a new feature that will automatically post employee records from Process Hires to the UKG Pro solution. Seamlessly append missing data to employee records using field value rules or setting default values, making onboarding new hires or rehires easier than ever. This functionality will be available to U.S. or Canadian employees.

Administrators will be able to fully configure and manage PTO plans for employees directly in the UKG Pro portal, all without opening a case. You can also say goodbye to limited views. Now, you’ll be able to view and create all PTO plans at the company level, as well as the amounts associated with the pending and carried over fields directly on the employee’s PTO plan profile.

You’ll also be able to filter by deleted hires from the Process Hires page, as well as permanently delete hire records individually or in bulk.

Streamline employee garnishment administration with the new Garnishment Earning and Deduction Setup feature. This enhancement will allow you to setup at the company level what earnings and deductions, by garnishment type, will be used for the calculation of disposable wages. These earnings and deductions will be automatically applied to employees’ garnishment deductions.

You’d have to input a case or manually rehire the employee and input each required field again. Not anymore! Our new feature will allow you to restore hires after they’ve initially been deleted. You’ll also be able to filter by deleted hires from the Process Hires page, as well as permanently delete hire records individually or in bulk. Note: For an administrator to access the Restore feature, the Delete option must be configured within Role Security.
Entering each earning and deduction on an employee’s check, one by one, can be tedious. With this new update, make changes to Pay Data Entry on an employee’s check or standard adjustment in just a few clicks. Payroll administrators will be able to select multiple earning or deduction codes at once, rather than having to add each code individually. And when adding an earning code, you’ll also have the option to request the creation of multiple rows of the same earning code.
Add Multiple Earnings & Deductions
Balancing payroll history information will be easier with the upcoming Payroll Reconciliation tool. This new tool will help ensure that U.S. taxes are deposited and filed correctly by recalculating posted checks based on your current tax settings. When turned on, the tool will perform a series of tests to provide suggested changes to historical wages and tax calculations.
Easily Process Payroll Reconciliation
Set preferences for select analytics displayed on the Smart Pay Analytics feature with expanded functionality that will give you even more configuration options. In addition, when comparing totals for a current payroll, administrators will be able to view the results they most want to see by selecting a payroll of their choosing to compare against on the Payroll Overview screen in the UKG Pro solution. Smart Pay Analytics must already be configured for an administrator to access this feature.

Your time is valuable. That’s why we’ll be rolling out a new feature that lets you quickly add earnings for multiple employees as Pending Pay Items. A new Import Earnings button will let you easily mass import employee earnings such as spot bonuses instead of having to create an individual pending pay item for each affected employee.

Display e-Consent reminders for your employees as they log into their UKG Pro solution to “Go Paperless” for their Form 1095-C. New configuration options have been added to the splash screen, which will now be combined with the existing Form W-2 electronic display. You’ll have a new option to add customized messaging to the employee 1095-C page, making it effortless to remind employees to go paperless by consenting to receive their Form 1095-C electronically.

UKG Pro Health Care Measurement Groups have been enhanced with new configuration settings to support ACA rehire rule requirements. Now, you can avoid manually moving employees in and out of Health Care Measurement Groups by automating the rehire process, using either a 13 or 26-week break-in-service threshold. Employees who are rehired under the configured threshold will continue their previous measurement periods, while employees who are rehired over the threshold will automatically begin new initial measurement periods. This feature also includes a new "Rehired in Period" flag on the Health Care Eligibility Summary page and on employee profiles to give you visibility into rehires that occurred within a given period.

Employees and managers will notice updated visibility options for employee notes added to the Talent Profile, Reviews, Goals, and Competencies in the UKG Pro Performance Reviews solution. This enhancement will change the default visibility of employee notes from “Only Me” to “Anyone” and will also default them to being “Visible from Review,” so they’re easily accessible during a performance review.

Tired of having to retroactively correct an employee’s pay rate in payroll? Seamlessly process future hourly pay rate changes on an employee’s primary job thanks to new effective dating enhancements. When the effective date of the hourly pay rate change applies to the current pay period being processed, the UKG Pro solution will automatically pull in the rate change. You’ll even be able to apply the change mid-pay period if daily records are provided by your time and attendance system. A new “Use job’s effective date for hourly pay rate” option in the Payroll Processing column will need to be selected to use this feature.
Updates to employee notes visibility now default them to being visible to “Anyone” and “Visible from Review.”

Communicating with candidates will be simpler than ever as recruiters and hiring managers will gain the ability to text job candidates directly from UKG Pro Recruiting. Once candidates opt-in to receive text messages, Recruiting users will be able to easily text candidates with a U.S. or Canadian cell phone number, view their responses, and see conversation history, directly from the solution.

Streamline processes and increase productivity with new and enhanced qualifiers coming to your UKG Pro Onboarding solution. Those assigned the Onboarding Employee Admin role will gain an expanded view for new hires based on the organization levels assigned along with work location, job, and component company. In addition, new Full Time/Part Time and Work Location code qualifiers will make it easier to get your people the information they need to make the onboarding process as smooth as possible.

With the constant evolution of state laws, we’ll be creating a new dashboard in your UKG Pro solution to assist you with tracking diversity, equity, and inclusion metrics.
