An obvious must-stop on any Great Ocean Road trip, standing out on the observation deck really does take your breath away. If you’re organised, aim to visit late-afternoon so you can revel in those glorious golden sunsets.

Easily one of the most beautiful hikes around Perth up in the hills, we love a Sunday morning walk through this luscious green spot passing by rapids and all sorts of beautiful wildlife. You can also bring the pooches, which is a major bonus too.

There’s nothing like throwing down a picnic blanket, grabbing some epic pastries from Chu Bakery across the road and watching the world go by under the jacaranda trees.

South Fremantle

Don’t let the chilly weather stop you—beachside South Freo is still the ultimate spot to grab a few drinks and ruck into hearty dishes when the temps drop. Get toasty sitting by the fire in one of the old heritage-listed pubs and grab a bargain Sunday roast deal if you fancy while you’re there.

Rottnest Island

Pack your woolies and take a ferry over to Rotto for the day to try your luck at a quokka selfie. You’ll warm up cycling around the island and the Rottnest Pub is the perfect place to end with fresh seafood and an awesome selection of vinos.
