Comfort cooling systems must comply by January 1, 2025.
Factory-charged systems with higher GWP refrigerants must be manufactured prior to January 1, 2027 and installed no later than December 31, 2029.
Self-contained DX systems (<50 kW): Must use GWP < 150 refrigerants by January 1, 2027.
Stationary chillers: Units > 12 kW must meet GWP <750 by January 1, 2027.
Split DX systems: Systems > 12kW must meet GWP < 750 by January 1, 2029, with a further reduction to GWP < 150 by 2033.
