Beal's only career game scoring 50+ points led the Wizards to a 106-92 victory over the Blazers. Even with high usage in John Wall's absence, Beal still managed to be efficient, hitting nearly 57% from the field on 37 attempts and 41% from 3-point range.

Beal's first All-Star appearance came in the first year of the captain format. Beal and Team LeBron's furious comeback topped Team Stephen, 148-145. Beal scored 14 points in 17 minutes.
First career triple-double

Beal's 40 points, 15 assists and 11 rebounds led the Wizards to a wild 3OT victory over Phoenix in Washington. Beal shot 51.5% from the field in the victory. He registered his second career triple-double less than a month later in an overtime thriller against the Raptors in D.C.

In his second straight All-Star appearance, Beal scored 11 points and added 3 assists to help Team LeBron to victory. His trio of 3-pointers in the second half helped spark a Team LeBron comeback after trailing by as many as 20 points.

Beal averaged 23.4 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in the 2015 playoffs at age 21. The Wizards went on to take the 1-seed Hawks to six games.
