Directions
Shake all ingredients except the sparkling wine in a shaker, and strain over fresh ice. Top with the sparkling wine. For the garnish, make a small horizontal incision near the stem of the sage leaf. Wrap the leaf around the cinnamon stick and insert the tip of the leaf through the incision.

*Heat 2 cups pomegranate juice over low heat. Add 3 cups sugar and one bundle of sage leaves and cook for approximately 30 minutes, until sugar dissolves. Strain the juice and refrigerate until use (you’ll have some left over for your next celebration).
